SPOTLIGHT: Moderator for Power Rising Summit in New Orleans

During my time in Miami as a radio personality at 99Jamz, I moderated a panel at Power Rising Summit in New Orleans, titled Images of Black Women in Pop Culture and Media. I was joined by DJ and music curator, Dominique Wells, Kimberly Selden of the Global Media Project, and Dr. Cheers, author of The Evolution of Black Women in Television, Mammies, Matriachs and Mistresses.

It was such a pleasure to be in and around rooms of full of Black and Brown women who are on a mission to empower themselves and others.
